BOSS NGO work is important because it empowers vulnerable communities, addresses social inequalities, and creates sustainable change by reaching people beyond the limits of government support.
Buddha Outcast Social Society (BOSS) is a registered voluntary organization established in 1995, working for the socio-economic development of marginalized communities. Over the past 30 years, BOSS has supported rural development initiatives in more than 100 villages around the Tiruvannamalai region. The organization actively works in Tiruvannamalai and Cuddalore districts of Tamil Nadu. BOSS focuses on empowering poor and vulnerable people by strengthening their skills, knowledge, and access to basic needs and rights. Through training programs and community-based interventions, the organization promotes self-reliance and sustainable development. BOSS strongly believes that people are the greatest resource for driving positive social change.
