Founder / Executive Secretary

Mr. R. Balu, M.A. Sociology graduate, is the Founder / Executive Secretary of the organization. He actively supports and oversees programs aimed at social - economic development, ensuring effective implementation of initiatives that benefit marginalized communities. The convenes and presiding overall administrative and General body meeting. The responsibilities of the Founder cum Executive Secretary are very important on the decision of the executive committee members of the Executive secretary carry this associating very well. He settles all accounts and sends letters in the members and convenes meetings and keeps his eyes on important documents. The Founder / Executive Secretary prepares all required document as per the Societies Registration Act every year and submit those records for the verification of the Auditor. .

Executive Secretary

Mr. R. Balu, Founder and Executive Secretary of the Buddha Outcast Social Society (BOSS), has carried out extensive development work focused on environmental sustainability across 100 rural areas. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Madras. A deeply committed individual, he has earned the trust and support of the poorest communities through his selfless service and dedication. Over the past 25 years, he has worked on environment-based development programs targeting rural populations. His efforts emphasize an integrated approach to empowering rural Dalit communities, shaped by years of experience, collaboration with various organizations, and the implementation of grassroots development initiatives. His holistic approach is the result of long-standing engagement with these communities and a deep understanding of their needs, ultimately contributing to meaningful and sustainable development.

He is an Advocate with a Master’s degree in Sociology. He is a skilled professional in community organizing and capacity building, particularly among disadvantaged local groups. He serves as a Member of the Child Welfare Committee and works as a Development and Legal Consultant. In addition, he has held leadership roles as a Master Trainer with World Vision India, demonstrating strong team leadership and expertise in training and development.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and is a skilled professional in community organizing and capacity building, particularly among disadvantaged local groups. She also serves as a Member of the Child Welfare Committee. In her leadership role as Treasurer, she plays a crucial part in managing the Association’s finances. She is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, safeguarding funds, and presenting clear accounts of income and expenditure whenever requested by the President, Secretary, or any member of the Association.

She also facilitates an overview of organizational policies, financial management, and governance structures. In addition, she helps clarify the roles and responsibilities of Board members and ensures that key resources, such as the governance handbook and essential policies, are shared during the induction process. She also coordinates and participates in field visits to program areas to strengthen understanding and engagement with on-ground activities.
